I was born in a family of hereditary blacksmith masters. I become quite familiar with this craft from my childhood. In 1975 I became an apprentice to my father Master Sharif Kamalov. In 1984 I entered the Industrial technological Institution of Bukhara. After classes I kept working as a blacksmith with my father . Nowadays I and my sons continue the family tradition in the fifth and sixth generation. I devoted much of my time to reviving and developing the blacksmith craft.
Currently I’m working with my sons Jahangir and Iskandar Kamalovs. During my labour I’ve taken part in many exibitions, festevals in other countries and I was awarded with various certifications. “The Cacsa” given by “Unesco” in 2004 is one of the best which was given for high – quality of bird scissors.
